Dom - forgive me (and correct me) if that's not accurate.īoth are great options if you want a hybrid somewhere between the BG and MG. You could also say that for the DVAL boards we took the BG and added MG fielding and MG pitching grades while for the Marino boards they started with the MG and removed the stuff they didn't want to use. Some may argue about the percentages but you get the gist. The easiest way to describe the difference between the two hybrid boards (and I'm sure there are many others) is that if the BG is at one end of the complexity spectrum and the full MG is at the other end, my DVAL boards are maybe about 40% of the way across, closer to the BG end and the Marino boards are maybe 70% of the way across the spectrum, getting closer to the MG end. I saw Dom at the convention and he and I were laughing about how when anybody posts a question about the basic game being a little too simple or the master game a little too complicated, he and I have a race to post an offer to provide the DVAL boards (mine) or Marino boards (Dom's). Dom Provisiero will no doubt respond to this post soon and I'm sure he will gladly send you the Paul Marino boards.
